Ember lamp
Ember is a smart outdoor light solution for Black Diamond Equipment. The company is from the United States and is a manufacturer of equipment for mountain sports (such as climbing or skiing). Black Diamond produces a variety of products for professionals. The proposed concept focuses on the time spent together in nature besides doing professional sport and thus widening the
brand´s product range with a more lifestyle-oriented line.
Hygge
The main inspiration for the project was hygge. Hygge is a Danish word for the cozy, intimate experience of being warm and safe with loved ones.
Tactile
The form includes tactile elements that invite the user to touch and interact with the lamp.
Colors
The range of colors contains fire-like colors, from red to white light. The transition between the colors - while twisting the lamp - is gradual to mimic natural light.
